Mr. Dennis Polk has been the President and Chief Executive Officer at SYNNEX Corp. since March 1, 2018. Mr. Polk served as the Chief Operating Officer of SYNNEX Corporation since July 2006. Mr. Polk served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance of SYNNEX Corp. since joining it in February 2002 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Polk joined SYNNEX Corporation in 2002. From March 2001 to January 2002, Mr. Polk provided services, primarily in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer, for several entities, including IPS Associates, SeeCommerce and Prestwick Partners. From February 2000 to February 2001, Mr. Polk served as Vice President of Finance at DoveBid Inc. From December 1995 to January 2000, Mr. Polk served as first the Corporate Controller and later the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Savoir Technology Group Inc., a computer systems distributor and contract assembler. Prior to December 1995, Mr. Polk was employed by Grant Thornton LLP. Mr. Polk has been a Director of SYNNEX Corp. since February 22, 2012. He has been Independent Director of Terreno Realty Corp. since February 2010. He served as a Director of EMJ Data Systems Ltd. Mr. Polk received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

SYNNEX distributes products and related logistics services. As a business process outsourcing and contract assembly it works with industry suppliers of IT systems, peripherals, system components, software and networking equipment.[2] The company is one of the major employers in Greenville, South Carolina.[2]

On December 21, 2009, SYNNEX acquired Jack of All Games from Take-Two Interactive.[3]

In December 2010 SYNNEX acquired the managed business solutions division of e4e, an ITes service provider located in Bangalore in India.[4]
