Mr. James J. Judge, also known as Jim, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Eversource Energy (formerly, Northeast Utilities/Northeast Utilities System) since May 4, 2016. Mr. Judge served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Yankee Gas Services Company since April 10, 2012 until May 9, 2016. He has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of NSTAR LLC since 1999. He serves as the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and Treasurer at BEC Funding II, LLC. Mr. Judge served the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Western Massachusetts Electric Company, NSTAR Electric Company since April 10, 2012 until May 4, 2016. Mr. Judge served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Public Service Company of New Hampshire until May 4, 2016. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of The Connecticut Light and Power Company since April 10, 2012 until May 4, 2016. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Eversource Energy (formerly, Northeast Utilities/Northeast Utilities System) until May 2016. He served as a Senior Vice President of NSTAR Electric Company from 1999 to April 2012 and also served as its Treasurer. He served as a Treasurer of NSTAR from 2000 to March 30, 2009. He has been the Chairman of NSTAR Electric Company, The Connecticut Light & Power Company, Public Service Company of New Hampshire. He served as the Chairman at Western Massachusetts Electric Company since May 4, 2016 until December 31, 2017. He has been the Chairman of Eversource Energy since May 3, 2017. He has been Trustee of Eversource Energy since May 4, 2016. He serves as a Director of NSTAR Gas Company, The Connecticut Light and Power Company and BEC Funding II, LLC. He has been a Director at Analogic Corporation since February 9, 2005; Public Service Company of New Hampshire since April 10, 2012 and NSTAR Electric Company since September 27, 1999. He served as a Director at Western Massachusetts Electric Company since April 10, 2012 until December 31, 2017. He served as a Director of Cambridge Electric Light Company. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Edison Electric Institute and the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. Mr. Judge has served as Chairman of the Board of Eversource Energy Foundation, Inc. since May 9, 2016; and as a Director since April 10, 2012. He previously served as Treasurer of the Eversource Energy Foundation, Inc. from May 10, 2012 until May 9, 2016. He has served as a Trustee of the NSTAR Foundation since December 12, 1995. Mr. Judge holds both an M.B.A. degree magna cum laude and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Babson College.

On February 2, 2015, Northeast Utilities and all its subsidiaries rebranded themselves as "Eversource Energy".[7] The stock symbol changed on February 19, 2015 from "NU" to "ES".[8]
