Kevin Murai, our President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director, joined us in March 2008. He served as Co-Chief Executive Officer until December 2008. Prior to SYNNEX, Mr. Murai was employed for 19 years at Ingram Micro Inc., during which he served in several executive management positions, including most recently as President, Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.  Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for StanCorp Financial Group, Inc., the Global Technology Distribution Council, and also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the University of Waterloo. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.

Kevin Murai is President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of SYNNEX Corporation.  Kevin joined SYNNEX in March 2008. SYNNEX is a global Business Process Services company with core businesses in IT Distribution and Customer Care BPO services, employs over 40,000 in over 36 countries and had 2013 sales of $10.8B USD.  Prior to SYNNEX, Mr. Murai was employed for 19 years at Ingram Micro Inc., most recently as President, Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.  Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for Stancorp Financial Group, is Vice-Chair of the Global Technology Distribution Council, serves on the Board of Directors for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, is a member of the University of Waterloo Engineering Dean's Advisory Council, and also is Chairman of the FIRST Robotics Canada Executive Advisory Board.

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1987.

SYNNEX Corporation, a Fortune 500 company founded in 1980 by Robert T. Huang based in Fremont, California, is an information technology supply chain services company offering services to original equipment manufacturers, software publishers and reseller customers. The president and CEO, as of November 2008, was Kevin M. Murai.[1]

SYNNEX distributes products and related logistics services. As a business process outsourcing and contract assembly it works with industry suppliers of IT systems, peripherals, system components, software and networking equipment.[2] The company is one of the major employers in Greenville, South Carolina.[2]

On December 21, 2009, SYNNEX acquired Jack of All Games from Take-Two Interactive.[3]

In December 2010 SYNNEX acquired the managed business solutions division of e4e, an ITes service provider located in Bangalore in India.[4]
