Mr. Michael R. Egeck, also known as Mike has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at Eddie Bauer, LLC since June 5, 2012. He served as the President of Outdoor in North America of VF Corporation from May 2004 to September 2009. He served as the President of The North Face, Inc. and joined it in 2000. He also led the sportswear division at Columbia Sportswear Company. Mr. Egeck was responsible for The North Face brand and was also responsible for the JanSport and Eastpak brands in North America. He also responsible for the planned acquisition of Vans Inc., and for the U.S. expansion of the Napapijri brand. He served as the President of VF's Contemporary Brands Coalition at Lucy Activewear, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Egeck served as President of V.F. Corporation from May 2004 to September 2009. He has been Executive Chairman of the Board of Eddie Bauer Gmbh Co. Kg since June 2012. Prior to joining VF Corporation, Mr. Egeck spent eight years at Columbia Sportswear as their General Manager. He also served as a Director of Merchandising, Design, and Sales operations for Unionbay Sportswear for nine years. He has been a Director of Eddie Bauer Gmbh Co. Kg since June 2012. He served as Independent Director of Bare Escentuals, Inc. from September 2009 to March 12, 2010. He is a well-known and highly respected Industry Leader. Mr. Egeck holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington. He has an M.B.A. from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
