Devin W. Stockfish has been President and Chief Executive Officer since Jan. 1, 2019. He also serves on the company's board of directors. Previously, he served as the company’s Senior Vice President, Timberlands; Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary; and as Vice President, Western Timberlands. Before joining Weyerhaeuser, he was Vice President & Associate General Counsel at Univar Inc., where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities law. Previously, he was an attorney in the law department at Starbucks Corporation and practiced corporate law at K&L Gates LLP. Before he began practicing law, he was an engineer with the Boeing Company. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado.

It owns or controls more than 6 million acres of timberlands, primarily in the U.S., and manages another 14 million acres under long-term licenses in Canada. The company also manufactures wood and cellulose fiber products. Weyerhaeuser is a real estate investment trust.[2]
